Bedroom chests can vary in size and style but usually have a combination of smaller drawers sat over larger drawers. Most choices of bedroom chest will be known as, for example a 2 over 4 chest or a 3 over 4 chest. When purchasing a chest keep this in mind as the top layer of drawers will usually be smaller, if you require all of the drawers to be the same size aim towards getting a chest that is just a 4 drawer chest. Smaller drawers can be useful for socks, underwear, rolled up ties and even make-up and accessories. There are also a wide variety of drawer separators on the market now designed specifically for organising smaller items within one drawer.
1. Bedroom - This is a natural place where you can find a chest of drawers. This is where you can keep your intimates, or what others call the underwear. You can also use this as extra cabinet space for your socks, shirts and pajamas.
MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) is something the same again, only the particles are smaller. This allows more detail to be machined into the finished product and quite ornate pieces can be produced which are then painted or veneered.
2. Childrens room - This is one of the best place to put chest of drawers. Why? Kids tend to be a little cluttered with all their toys, video games and board games lying around. However, with a good set of drawers, easy storage for all these stuff is just within your reach. At the same time, it is also accessible for you to take them out whenever your kids need to play with them again.
I myself now buy online or from the local auction house in order to get a well made piece of furniture at a good price.
The Chest of Drawers is one of the most popular pieces of furniture, being able to store all manner of things.
