In the kitchen, dining room and living room most drawers that are in use are from a sideboard or dresser however with such a huge choice of chests drawers now available there are many that are suitable for these rooms. A chest could be used to store place mats, cutlery, instruction manuals or recipe books. Contemporary designers are now building modern and often quite funky chest suitable for any room of the house. Some of the designs seen include stacking the drawers at an odd angle and incorporating bright colours so that the chest becomes a stand out piece of furniture.
